How to export your data from Seobility
Seobility lets you export your Website Audit reports, Ranking Monitoring data, Backlink Monitoring data, and Keyword Research results as CSV (raw data) or PDF (formatted reports) — but there is no single 'export all my account data' button; each tool is exported separately, per project.
✓ Verified against Seobility's official documentation, October 2026
Step by step
- 1Log in to your Seobility account at app.seobility.net and open the project you want to export data from.
- 2For a technical SEO audit: go to the project's Website Audit Overview, then export an individual report as CSV, or download the full Website Audit as a PDF covering your entire crawled site.
- 3For keyword rankings: open Ranking Monitoring for the project and use the Export option to download your tracked keyword positions as CSV or PDF, or set up an automated weekly email report.
- 4For backlinks: open Backlink Monitoring for the project and export your full backlink list (source/target URLs, link type, follow/nofollow, rating) as CSV or PDF.
- 5For keyword research data: run a search in the Keyword Research Tool, then use the CSV export to download the resulting keyword list (search volume, CPC, competition).
- 6Repeat the relevant export step for each project, since Seobility exports are scoped per project and per report, not account-wide.
- 7Save all downloaded CSV/PDF files locally or to cloud storage before downgrading or canceling your plan.
What the export includes
- ✓Website Audit: individual technical/on-page SEO reports (CSV) and full project audit summaries (PDF)
- ✓Ranking Monitoring: tracked keyword positions on desktop/mobile (CSV/PDF), plus optional weekly email reports
- ✓Backlink Monitoring: backlink list with source/target URL, link type, follow/nofollow status, and link rating (CSV/PDF)
- ✓Keyword Research Tool: keyword lists with search volume, CPC, competition, and intent data (CSV)
What it doesn't include
- ✗No single combined 'export my entire account/workspace' file — each tool/report must be exported individually
- ✗No JSON or API-based export mentioned in the docs reviewed — only CSV and PDF
- ✗White-labeled (custom logo) PDF/CSV reports are not available on the free Basic plan
- ✗No documented export for account/team settings, billing history, or Uptime Monitoring logs
Before you start
- ⚠Exports are per-project and per-report; there's no bulk 'download everything' button, so budget time to export each tool separately across all your projects
- ⚠Backlink data updates weekly and mobile rankings update roughly every 3 days, so an export is a snapshot as of the last completed update, not real-time
- ⚠The free Basic plan limits crawls to 100 pages and enforces a waiting period between crawls, which can limit how current your exported Website Audit data is
- ⚠The documentation reviewed does not specify a data retention period after cancellation — export everything before downgrading or canceling to be safe
Where to take your data
Free and cheaper tools that can take a Seobility export. See all Seobility alternatives →
Screaming Frog SEO Spider
Screaming Frog's free version can crawl up to 500 URLs and supports 'List Mode,' where you upload a CSV/TXT list of URLs instead of crawling via links. You can feed the URL list from your Seobility Website Audit export into List Mode to re-crawl and independently verify technical issues.
Ahrefs Webmaster Tools
There's no direct CSV import for backlink data. Instead, verify your domain in Ahrefs Webmaster Tools (free for site owners) to get independent, ongoing backlink and organic keyword data going forward; keep your Seobility Backlink Monitoring CSV as a historical snapshot/benchmark.
Google Search Console
Search Console doesn't accept CSV imports either. If you haven't already, verify your property there — GSC's own ranking/click data is independent of Seobility and unaffected by canceling your subscription. Use your exported Seobility rankings CSV only as an offline historical reference.
Exporting from Seobility: common questions
Can I export all my Seobility data in one click?+
No. Seobility doesn't provide a single account-wide export. You export each report type (Website Audit, Ranking Monitoring, Backlink Monitoring, Keyword Research) separately, per project, as CSV or PDF.
What file formats does Seobility export to?+
CSV for raw data tables and PDF for formatted, shareable reports. No JSON or XML export is documented.
Can I export data on the free Basic plan?+
Yes, CSV and PDF export are available on the free Basic plan. The one limitation is that white-labeled PDF reports with your own logo require a paid plan.
How do I export my backlink data before leaving Seobility?+
Open Backlink Monitoring for the project and export the full backlink list — including source/target URLs, link type, and follow/nofollow status — as CSV or PDF.
Will I lose my ranking history if I cancel my Seobility subscription?+
Seobility's documentation doesn't state a specific data retention policy for canceled accounts, so export your Ranking Monitoring data as CSV or PDF (or set up a weekly email report) before downgrading or canceling.
Does Seobility support bulk CSV import into tools like Ahrefs or Search Console?+
No. Those destinations don't accept direct CSV imports from Seobility. The practical path is to verify your domain in Ahrefs Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console so they independently collect your data going forward, keeping your Seobility exports as a historical backup.
