How to export your data from Workable

Workable also has a built-in BambooHR integration that pushes candidate profiles (name, contact info, job title, department, resume, and EEO fields if enabled) into an HRIS automatically when a candidate is moved to 'Hired,' or manually on demand.

Step by step
- 1Open the detailed candidate report (also referred to as the candidate breakdown report) inside Workable.
- 2Use the report to export your candidate data as a CSV file — this is the documented route for moving candidate data into 'the HRIS system of your choice.'
- 3If you use BambooHR specifically, add the BambooHR integration from the Workable toolbar instead of a manual CSV — setup takes about 5 minutes.
- 4Configure whether the BambooHR export runs automatically (as soon as a candidate is moved to the 'Hired' stage of your pipeline) or manually, triggered by a hiring team member.
- 5If exporting manually, trigger the export for each hired candidate (or job) you want to move to the destination system.
- 6Download or confirm the resulting CSV/employee record, then upload it into your new ATS or HRIS.

Before you start
