How to export your data from Jasper AI
Jasper doesn't have a single 'export all my data' button. You download individual Canvas documents/images locally (.docx, .pdf, .txt, .md, .png) one at a time or in bulk via Table View, or push them straight to Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box if your admin enables that integration. Separately, Business-plan Admins can export the 90-day Audit Log as CSV or JSON.
✓ Verified against Jasper AI's official documentation, October 2026
Step by step
- 1To download a single asset: open it in Canvas, click the '...' menu in the top right corner, click Download, then choose the file type (.docx, .pdf, .txt, or .md).
- 2To bulk-export: in a project, switch to Table View (bottom right), select individual assets or check 'Select All', then click 'Export selected assets' in the top menu.
- 3To export an entire section at once: right-click the section (or use the export icon in the section menu) and choose 'Export Section' to export every document in it.
- 4To send content to external storage instead of downloading it: go to Workspace Settings > Integrations, toggle on Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, or Box, and sign in to grant Jasper permission.
- 5When exporting via an integration, use the 'Save to' dropdown to pick the destination, navigate nested folders to the exact location, click 'Save here', then select the file type.
- 6To export the Audit Log: log in as an Admin, go to Workspace Settings > Audit Log, then click the Export button and choose CSV or JSON.
- 7If an export button doesn't respond, refresh the browser or try a different one before contacting Jasper Support.
What the export includes
- ✓Individual Canvas documents and images you created in Jasper, downloadable as .docx, .pdf, .txt, .md (documents) or .png (images)
- ✓Bulk or section-level exports of multiple Canvas assets at once via Table View
- ✓Content pushed to connected Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box folders as .docx (and .png for images; Box supports .docx only)
- ✓Workspace Audit Log entries (invites, member additions/removals, role changes) for the trailing 90 days, as CSV or JSON
What it doesn't include
- ✗A single account-wide 'export everything' archive — Jasper's documented export tools cover Canvas assets and the Audit Log, not a full workspace backup
- ✗Audit Log history older than 90 days
- ✗Export Integrations and Audit Log export are unavailable on non-Business plans
- ✗Export Integrations must be turned on by an Admin before any member can use them — they're off by default
Before you start
- ⚠Export Integrations (Google Drive, SharePoint, Box) are hidden until a Workspace Admin enables them under Workspace Settings > Admin controls > Team integrations.
- ⚠Exported documents become .docx (and images .png); Box only accepts .docx, so image exports to Box aren't supported.
- ⚠Connecting Google Drive or SharePoint turns on both import (Knowledge Sync) and export with one authentication step.
- ⚠The Audit Log only retains and displays the last 90 days of activity, and only Admins can view or export it.
- ⚠If the Export button in the Audit Log fails, Jasper's own troubleshooting suggests refreshing or switching browsers before contacting support at hey@jasper.ai.

Exporting from Jasper AI: common questions
Can I export all my Jasper content at once?+
Not as a single archive. You can bulk-select assets in Table View and export them together, or export an entire section at once, but there's no documented one-click 'export my whole workspace' option.
What file formats does Jasper export to?+
Documents download as .docx, .pdf, .txt, or .md. Images export as .png. When pushed to Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box, documents become .docx and images become .png (Box supports .docx only).
Do I need a paid plan to export my content?+
Downloading individual assets locally isn't gated by plan in the documentation, but Export Integrations to Google Drive, SharePoint, or Box, and the Audit Log export, are listed as Business (Enterprise) plan features.
Can I export my Jasper Chat conversation history?+
Jasper's Export Content documentation covers Canvas documents and images, not Chat conversation logs — there's no export flow for Chat history described in that article.
Who can export the Audit Log?+
Only workspace Admins on a Business plan can access Workspace Settings > Audit Log and export it as CSV or JSON, and it only covers the trailing 90 days.
Can regular (non-admin) team members export content?+
Yes — any member can download their own Canvas assets locally. But setting up Export Integrations to external storage requires an Admin to enable them first in Admin controls > Team integrations.
