How to export your data from Hunter
Hunter lets you export your saved leads and companies as CSV files directly from the Leads section, plus separate CSV exports for Sequences performance data and Bulk Email Verifier results. People exports have no row limit; company exports are capped at 100 rows on Free plans and 100,000 on paid plans.

Step by step
- 1Go to the Leads section in Hunter.
- 2For people: select the leads you want to export, then click the three dots (•••) menu and choose Export.
- 3For companies: select the companies you want to export — the Export button appears immediately once items are selected.
- 4Click Export to download a CSV file; small exports download instantly in your browser, larger exports are emailed to you instead.
- 5For sequence performance data, go to Sequences > Reporting (or click Reporting in the Sequences left sidebar), use Displayed columns to pick metrics, click Update, scroll to the Details section, and click Export CSV.
- 6To export stats for an archived sequence, open it via the Archived status filter, go to its Statistics tab, and export a CSV from there.
- 7For bulk-verified emails, use the Bulk Email Verifier and download the results as CSV once processing finishes.
- 8For Domain Search results, select revealed contacts and click Export as CSV in the top bar (no credits used if already revealed).
What the export includes
- ✓People exports: full/first/last name, job title, department, email address, confidence score, verification status and date, company name, industry, company size, company type, company country, website, LinkedIn URL, phone number, city, state, country, tags, source, owner, and creation/update/activity dates
- ✓Company exports: company name, domain, industry, headcount, company type, location (city, state, postal code, country), LinkedIn URL, description, and tags
- ✓Any custom attributes you've created, added automatically as extra columns
- ✓Sequence-level reporting metrics: Sent, Bounces, Opens, Clicks, Replies, Successful, Unsubscribes, per step/variant
- ✓Bulk Email Verifier results as CSV, including original uploaded columns plus Hunter's verification result columns
What it doesn't include
- ✗Unrevealed emails in Domain Search (only revealed/saved leads can be exported)
- ✗Sequences Reporting export on Free plans — only available on paid plans via the Reporting page; Free users can only view/export per-sequence Statistics
- ✗Raw sent email content or templates (only performance metrics are exported from Sequences)
- ✗No single combined 'export all workspace data' file — leads, companies, sequence stats, and verifier results are separate CSV exports
Before you start
- ⚠Company export limits: 100 companies per export on Free plans, 100,000 on paid plans — these limits apply only to companies, not to people/lead exports
- ⚠There is no limit when exporting leads from the people lists
- ⚠Larger exports aren't downloaded instantly — Hunter emails you the file instead
- ⚠Hunter Discover results must first be revealed into Leads (via Find all People) before they can be exported — Discover itself only lets you export a CSV of companies found in a search
- ⚠Archived sequences don't show up in the main Reporting filter; export their stats individually from the sequence's own Statistics tab
- ⚠Exporting leads/companies costs 0 credits — credits are only spent when revealing previously unrevealed emails

Exporting from Hunter: common questions
Can I export all my Hunter leads for free?+
Yes — exporting people/leads as CSV has no row limit and works on any plan, since exporting itself costs 0 credits.
Is there a limit on exporting companies from Hunter?+
Yes — Free plans are limited to 100 companies per export, while paid plans allow up to 100,000 companies per export.
What format does Hunter export data in?+
All exports (leads, companies, sequence reporting, bulk verifier results) are delivered as CSV files.
Can I export Sequences performance data on the Free plan?+
Not from the main Reporting page, which is paid-only. On Free plans you can still export CSV stats from the Statistics tab of each individual sequence.
Does exporting leads use my Hunter credits?+
No. Exporting itself costs 0 credits — credits are only consumed when you reveal an email address that hasn't been revealed yet.
Why didn't my export download immediately?+
Small exports download straight to your browser, but larger exports are processed and sent to you by email instead of an instant download.
